There has been a lot in the press about English Wines lately - and of course I noticed! UK vineyards are a lot closer than those in the South of France. After reading an article in Vineyard magazine about the emerging popularity of Vineyard Tourism I sent a few UK vineyards my special zig-zag cards asking if they would like me to exhibit in their wine tasting rooms.
I'm pleased to say the result has been two exhibitions over the summer . One, an open day at Chafor Vineyard, Bucks and the other in the wine tasting room at Giffords Hall in Suffolk. The photos are of my work on display at Giffords Hall with owner and vitner, the lovely Linda Howard, placing bottles on the table. The exhibition was on during August. Linda and her sister, Emma arrange vineyard tours with wine tastings for both individuals and groups throughout the season. Something to book for 2020?
