Sue studied at The West of England College of Art and at Goldsmiths College, London. This was followed by a post graduate year in education at Brighton College of Art.

She then decided to take a different path and launched an interior furnishing business and gallery which she ran successfully until she took a break to raise her family.

It was then she discovered her love of teaching and became a tutor in adult education, running weekly classes and workshops.

In 2012 she started up South Northamptonshire Arts to give a platform to and to unite artists in the area. Under this banner she organised the annual Art Trail giving the opportunity for artists to show their work, gaining recognition in the local community.

Now she concentrates on her own painting practice and exhibiting her work. Sue’s work is in private collections in the UK and abroad and she has exhibited in Northants Town & Country, Northants Open Studios, South Northamptonshire Art Trail, The Beeby Gallery, Olney and The Mall Galleries, London.
